August 5 - 9, we will be hosting five nights of prayer, each night starting at 7:00 PM. Monday through Thursday will be prayer focused, and Friday night we will be hosting a special service to end the week, followed by an afterparty. Pastor Jason has written a special five-day devotion just for the week. You can pick one of those up in the cafe’ Sunday August 4th. We believe the Lord has great things in store for us, and there is no better way to step into those things than to build and altar and cry out to God.
Altars appear in many different forms throughout the Bible. Altars were used most commonly as a memorial, marking the place where God touched the one who built it. In Exodus 17, Moses built an altar as a sign that God would grant His people victory over their enemies. Thus, the altar became symbolic of victory. Our greatest victories lie in wait at the altar. We know this time of prayer and fasting will refresh you personally and our church corporately. We are in this together! These are great times. When we win in prayer, we win everywhere.
Childcare will not be provided during the Altar, this will be a great time to enjoy prayer and the service Friday as a family.
