PREGNANCY CENTER: 

Choices Resource Center is a life-affirming pregnancy center that helps individuals and families with unplanned pregnancies, sexual health issues, and post-abortion healing. Since 1992 they have served Oak Ridge and surrounding communities with the truth and love of Jesus Christ. Their programs include pregnancy tests, STD testing, abstinence education, Heart to Heart Parenting Program, and more. All services are free of charge. Choices Resource Center has a number of ways you can get involved – including volunteering, financial contributions, or participating in one of their fundraisers such as the annual Walk for Life. HOMELESS SHELTER: 

KARM is a ministry to the homeless which daily serves over 1,200 meals and shelters nearly 400 people. KARM offers biblically-based counseling and addiction treatment, residential recovery programs, and provides job training and employment services to guests in long-term residential facilities, including Serenity Shelter for victims of domestic violence. SAFE FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN: 

Safe Families for Children hosts vulnerable children and creates extended family–like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through the Safe Families ministry, volunteer Host Families offer loving care to parents, watching over their children while the parents regain stability. STREET HOPE: 

Together with the Lord’s help, Street Hope TN can bring an end to child sexual exploitation and sex trafficking of children and provide safe environments to foster healing and hope through Jesus Christ. They create awareness through increasing knowledge of what sex trafficking is, reduce the vulnerability in our youth through school-based programming, and help with the restoration and healing of survivors. They are currently raising funds to build the first safe home in east TN for girls aged 12-17 who are victims of domestic minor sex trafficking. For more info click here.
